Hello and Welcome to Recirclable! Our mission is to make it easy for consumers to choose reusable containers when ordering their favorite take-out food! We are excited to have you join our community. 

When you use Recirclable’s service, Recirclable may collect, use and disclose your personal information to provide and improve our service. We have created this Privacy Policy to describe our practices and policies. By registering with Recirclable, you agree to Recirclable’s collection and use of your personal information as described below. This Privacy Policy also applies to visitors to the Recirclable website. ‍

Collection of Personal Information and Usage Data – Our service collects your personal information when you register, when you use the service and each time you borrow or return a Recirclable container.

Types of Personal Information – The personal information collected by Recirclable may include: 

• Contact information (for example, your full name, email address, full physical address, phone number) 
• Account information (for example, your username and password)
• Invoice and billing information (including credit card information) for use when fees are payable
• Location of the borrowing and returning of containers (both through the use of QR codes and geolocation technologies)
• Information you provide to us through social media channels
  

Recirclable will also collect usage information automatically when you are logged into the Recirclable website, whether through your mobile device, laptop or other type of device.  

Types of Usage Data – The usage data collected by Recirclable may include:

• Your device’s Internet Protocol address, unique device identifiers, browser type, browser version, the time and date of your visit, the specific pages you visited and the time spent on each and other technical and diagnostic data
• Information about your device such as the model and screen size
  

Use of Personal Information and Usage Data – Recirclable may use your personal information and the usage data for the following purposes:

• To manage your account and provide our service to you, including processing transactions and payments, tracking your use of the service and the borrowing and returning of containers, providing customer service 
• To develop and maintain our service, including monitoring its use, analyzing service performance, identifying usage trends and developing and testing new and existing features
• To support the restaurants that make our containers available to our community of users
• To provide you with service updates and information
• To provide you with offers and promotions, as long as you have not opted-out of those communications 
• To monitor, maintain and protect the security of our systems
  

Sharing of Personal Information – Recirclable may share personal information and usage data in the following circumstances:

• With our service providers (for example, our hosting providers, credit card processors, data analytics and marketing services) where sharing is reasonably necessary for the service provider to perform their service 
• With restaurants and business partners for the purpose of offering you products, services and promotions 
• With our corporate affiliates (i.e., corporate entities that Recirclable controls), provided those entities comply with the terms of this Privacy Policy
• In connection with the negotiation of any potential sale and the transfer of assets in an actual sale of Recirclable to another company
• As required by any valid legal demand, including a court order or request from public authorities 
• In an aggregate or other non-identifiable form
• For any other purpose with your consent
  

Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies – Recirclable’s website may use cookies, web beacons and similar tracking technologies to enable the features and functions of the Recirclable website and to better understand how people use the site. Specifically, cookies are used to allow Recirclable to recognize you when you visit the website, keep track of your borrowing activity, conduct research into how people use the Recirclable site and service, and to improve the security of our site and reporting.

Retention, Storage and Transfer of Personal Information – Recirclable will retain your personal information and usage data only for the time period needed given the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In addition to the uses described above, Recirclable may retain your personal information and usage data as needed to comply with applicable law, resolve disputes or enforce our rights or policies. Recirclable will process your personal information and usage data at Recirclable’s facilities and those facilities of its service providers. Those facilities may be located in a jurisdiction different than the jurisdiction where you are located and your use of Recirclable and acceptance of this Privacy Policy constitute consent to a transfer to those facilities.

Links to Third Party Websites – The Recirclable website may contain links to third party websites and services. Recirclable does not control those websites and is not responsible for their privacy policies or compliance. Please review those policies directly.

Changes to this Privacy Policy – Recirclable may make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time, provided that material changes will only apply proactively and only after notice has been sent to you. Recirclable will notify you of changes by sending an email to the address listed with your registration or by posting a notice to the website.
